Evan + Francesca

Inspiring evening documenting Francesca and Evan’s love! We shot downtown, traveled around the city and used Detroit’s urban beauty and skyline as our backdrop. Always love when our couples let us use our eye for creativity and come along and be themselves. The couple’s love for the water and the city of Detroit inspired our session together.

“Evan and I met in 2006 when I was a sophomore and he was a senior at Grosse Pointe North High School. At the time we never could have imagined we would be here, almost fourteen years later, planning our wedding!”

“As the years went on, and our relationship continued to grow, we decided it was time to move in together. And shortly after, we added on to our little family by four legs and got a dog — a giant schnauzer named Gunner. Our first Christmas in our new home —with our new pup — we started a tradition. Instead of exchanging gifts we did stockings for the three of us. Christmas morning 2018 started out just like the one previous. When I opened Gunners stocking there was a box, and in that box there was a dog tag that read “Will you marry my daddy?”! Evan, already down on one knee, asked me the question too! Through many tears, and several oh my Gods, I eventually said YES! It couldn’t have been more perfect!”
